·         FREE District workshops twice per year for a total of 6 free CE credits accepted by APNCC, NCCAP & NCCDP toward certifications and re-certifications. You also have the option to attend the District workshops held in other parts of the State for free (Central, Coastal, Lower and Piedmont Districts).

·         Discounts to the annual conference and awards banquet in March with national speakers and a total of 15 CE credits, 4 meals and 6 general sessions, in addition to  concurrent activity sessions from which each attendee chooses 4 to attend. Very reasonable fee, much less that other similar education offered across the state and nation. This conference is also pre-approved by LTHCA for Administrators as some SCAPA members are dually certified.

·         Discount to the annual one day workshop in August for at least 6 CE credits

·         Opportunities for your opinions to be heard and expressed to national organizations. Two SCAPA members serve on the APN Credentialing Center Board. SCAPA members also serve on various State committees. SCAPA sends comments to CMS related to any activity regulation topics and always advocates for the Activity Professionals.

·         Annual awards ceremony to recognize Activity Professionals, Volunteers and others for their accomplishments.

·         Individual memberships are good for one year from the date joined.
